Dunhill - a Leafy Menthol Lights

Just before I wind up December month Dunhill bLoG,
I'd like to share this very special limited issue
of the menthol Lights. Nothing great about it,
just a cigarette in a bigger box than usual.
One retail shop I frequent gave it to me andprobably
there could be a leaflet/card or a premium inside.
And closing off in remembering the December showcase banner!
Thanks for your visits! See you next year then! .'-}

Dunhill Wallet pack

Dunhill like other cigarette companies, has regular Limited Edition packs.
That's why collectors are always around for grabs!
And I mean they really grab them fast!
Some smokers hardly get a chance to collect them or even have a glance of it!
Thus, this hobby is nothing too strange about but unique!
This Wallet twin pack of 20's has been an earlier product before the D360

This really was a special design on the packaging!
Dunhill and Marlboro are the 2 brands with the most products in the market
that I have collected, so, January 2011 showcase will still be Dunhill but
it will mostly be based on it's special issues.
So, do drop by soon for more!
Meanwhile, have A Happy and Prosperous New Year!

D360 Platinum Collection

Well, I am not too sure if this D360 is known as Platinum
but this was a very limited edition package that came with
a USB speaker for the notebook at a very special price.
Well, nothing great about paying for it as at that time
we get to buy one similar USB speaker at about that price too!
It's just a marketing gimmick, but as for me,
it's the special package for my collection!
The following is the open view of the box.
Actually there were 3 flavors to this issue but I only bought one.
There isn't any point of having 3 USB speakers though
the thought was there at that time.
I suggested to the Esso/Mobil Gas Station guy who regularly keep
special boxes for me to collect for me if somebody happens to throw
away a box, but that seems quite impossible.
Have a pleasant day!
And still, Merry Christmas!

D360's Premiums

As Dunhill progressed with it's new brands,
of course they will not forget about rewards!
This was the heavy metal cast iron ashtrays for the D360 range!

The following is the only lighter special premium pack I had, i think!
Well, b'cos this is the only pix I could retrieve!
The lighter is quite special actually. Nice box too, yes?
Have you collected any one of them?
Hope you eNjOyed the view!
Merry Christmas!
Drop by for more!

D 360

Well, since the launch of the round-edged box pack,
more flavors from Dunhill has emerged till this very day.
One that began was the D 360 which has 4 flavors to it's credit.
The Red full filters, Green menthol, Blue lights and Silver ultra lights.

Since it's release into the market, D 360 has some premiums
that was being retailed too.
These were the 3 favorite flavors that came in a design set
for the word Dunhill. The word Dunhill is also embossed on the box.
I also had the pleasure of owning this display stand, given to me by
one of a coffee shops I frequent at an Industrial Estate.

More of Dunhill's special premiums on next bLoGs.
I'll be seeing you then! eNjOy the view
and have a pleasant Christmas!

Dunhill's 3 Basic Blends

Just before the reign of the round edged boxes of the D 360
these are the 3 basic flavors of Dunhill.
The addition of their menthol green & lights in blue!
Following pix shows the 14 stick packs.
Of course they are quite well received by their loyal smokers!
But, I think the light on that blue wasn't as good as the white box!

See you soon! Have a pleasant day!

Dunhill - the 1st White!

For over a decade, this has been the first time that a new box
was re-invented and introduced. It came first in their Lights flavor,
a white box packing! Yes, round edges as we all see in many
other brands nowadays.

From then on, other flavors of Dunhill slowly surfaced in the market -
the Lights went into blue box & the Menthol came out in green.
And of course then there is the Menthol Lights in the later stage.
This rounded edged box later was produced under the name D360.

Will post that release in the next bLoG.
See you around soon!

ps - oh, and to my dismay, when I looked for this pack for a snap,
I found that there's only this box around! Wonder if this is the only one I've collected!
I'm still searching for more of it! Can't imagine that I once smoked this!

Dunhill - 100 years!

So, Dunhill has been around for over a decade now.
100 years and counting!
Well, this has been my collection for the 100 years issues -
that's in 2007.
The twin packs special also includes the menthol flavor.
Here is the top view and you can see that the new D360 range
is also in this special issue, promoting it's new packaging box.

There were some other special issues around that time too.
I'll need to do some adjustments from the shots later!
100 years in the industry is something to celebrate about!
Do pop by soon!
Thanks for coming by again!

Dunhill - 40 years in Malaysia

A very special occasion celebrating 40 years of Dunhill original full filters
in our country, Malaysia and probably in Asia.
You can read it from the print on the box loud & clear.
"Thank you MALAYSIA!"
Close up details of the twin box package - it's a sliding plastic casing!

The special leaflets.
Thanks for dropping in. Have a pleasant day!
And, come back for more!

Dunhill : Origin

What an item to start than it's original range of tastes - the red full filters.
It's a time when Dunhill have not penetrated the market with other flavors yet!
Well, these are the main packaging since the earliest of times!
From right, the 7, 10, 14 to 20 sticks and the twin packs for 14's and 20's
The tall box contains 2 packs of 20's.
And I also collected the carton box pack for the 20's.
Hope you will eNjOy it's series of products for this whole month!
I can assure you of DUNHILL's wide range that has gone by!
