KENT's 3 Menthols

Well, in my last bLoG a couple of days back, 

I mentioned the 3 menthol flavors - Futura, Neo & Infina.

This is a special collectible pack that contain twinpack of each filters.

And it includes a premium of a slim handy lighter!

KENT's Menthol hardpack

At the time of revival of KENT from Peter Stuyvesant,

they had the only hard pack - menthol flavors.

This has been the special carton box that i ever collected 
on these 2 filters - regular full filter ( Peter ) & Futura menthol.

This you won't get at retail stores.

It was given to me by a coffee shop that I frequent at a place

called Mount Austin, at an Industrial area of the same name.

NEO for Super Cool and
Infina for Ultra Cool.

KENT's revival from Peter

Yes, KENT has been off the market for a certain period of time.

I was having the impression that it will never surfaced again!

And so, it happened again but this time,

it's as if a merge it has emerged from 2 players!

Now, the new image of KENT began from

the switch of Peter Stuyvesant's soft packs!

Yes, Peter Stuyvesant has always been in it's soft packs for ages!

Close up on it's first re-introduction of KENT into the market and making formal
that the soft pack of Peter Stuyvesant is switching to KENT.

The later issues slowly switched Peter's name on top and KENT as the new barnd.

and later totally becomes what you see today, dropping off the Peter image on the box.

This booklet has been a special gift from a retailer who is so kind to keep it for me.

You can't purchase it from anywhere!

However, from this twinbox pack ( rear view ), you will be notified from the cigarette 

itself that you are still smoking a Peter Stuyvesant cigarette. Yes, this is to keep

those loyal smokers from loosing interest that Peter is lost forever!

I should say it's a special tribute to Peter Stuyvesant!

KENT Lights up your Life!

Well, KENT will also never leave itself out of premiums

especially lighters! This has been a very special and

bulky box with a very heavy refillable metal lighter!

The plastic box casing blends well with the lighter's shape!

I should say the lighter is very nice and handy but 

just too heavy to carry around and keeping in the pocket!

The package came with 2 packets of either 1, 6 or 9 filters.

And this special ergonomic design is very striking!

This has been about their only one time package that gives

away such prestige! I hardly come across nice looking lighters

from them for years now!

The Fallen KENT

Since KENT has been picked as the cigarette of this month,

we take some moment in remember the old KENT,

once fallen even after painstaking time taken to have

many of the precious premium gifts! 

Well, they do have many gifts which I have collected, 

including very special earpiece FM radios!

I couldn't find the pix of any 20's box in my archive, 

so I have posted the 7 stick sets instead.

These were the long gone 7 stick packs. 

It once had a plastic pack that holds 3 flavors together, 

selling as a set. As we now know KENT comes in flavor

of 1, 6 and 9 filters.  It has always been their identity.
At the fore front is a promotional  leaflet and a card.
