Yes, you just have to Luv it slim, and cool! 

This is one other slims that i have collected 

though it is still a contraband product! 

Dunno if you have seen this before but hope you enjoy the view!

JUNE is longest in slim

JUNE is one menthol slim ciggy that's been around for a long time 

especially amongst the lady smokers!

CANYON menthol slim

This slim was a recent collection. 

I never knew CANYON has this slim menthol of 20 sticks. 

I met an elderly  man from downtown and 

i told him that i collects boxes. 

He then later gave me 3 boxes. 

Thanks to him i have this! 

But still it's a contraband! 
Or now being labelled illicit ciggys!

Gin, a special

Middle of last year, i wrote on 2 slim ciggarettes. 

One was a new launch from SALEM and 

the other was a contraband on the streets called JUNE. 

This bLoG about GIN is one of a kind. 

The box is even smaller, the sticks slimmer 

and it appears like a wallet! 

Taste? Well, soothing menthol actually! 

The ladies like them! Origin? Not known.

DUNHILL Boost

2011 bring about some new look in packaging for cigarettes!

DUNHILL is one of them and this has been January's

so-called Menthol Boost! A new product from DUNHILL!

Meaning? Well, it is deeper in menthol taste I feel and chilling!

Oh well, i had to taste it to feel it! ;-D

It is trying to be as biting as SALEM!

And of course this is an issue under the New Directive Policy.

So, what's that CLICK TO RELEASE? 
I tried as labeled and there really is a click sound!

 It breaks a tiny balloon inside and triggers the boosted menthol!
Twalla! Really menthol boost!
You can feel the "kick" right thru your nose!

And, this really is a Limited Edition pack for now 

cos it is hard to get! You can't find it at all retail stores.

So, if you wanna get this attractive pack and
wanna take a feel of that boost, you betta be quick!

Dunhill's 3 Basic Blends

Just before the reign of the round edged boxes of the D 360

these are the 3 basic flavors of Dunhill.
The addition of their menthol green & lights in blue!

Following pix shows the 14 stick packs.

Of course they are quite well received by their loyal smokers!

But, I think the light on that blue wasn't as good as the white box!

Dunhill - 100 years!

So, Dunhill has been around for over a decade now.
100 years and counting!

Well, this has been my collection for the 100 years issues -
that's in 2007.
The twin packs special also includes the menthol flavor.

Here is the top view and you can see that the new D360 range
is also in this special issue, promoting it's new packaging box.

There were some other special issues around that time too.

I'll need to do some adjustments from the shots later!
100 years in the industry is something to celebrate about!

KENT's 3 Menthols

Well, in my last bLoG a couple of days back, 

I mentioned the 3 menthol flavors - Futura, Neo & Infina.

This is a special collectible pack that contain twinpack of each filters.

And it includes a premium of a slim handy lighter!

KENT's Menthol hardpack

At the time of revival of KENT from Peter Stuyvesant,

they had the only hard pack - menthol flavors.

This has been the special carton box that i ever collected 
on these 2 filters - regular full filter ( Peter ) & Futura menthol.

This you won't get at retail stores.

It was given to me by a coffee shop that I frequent at a place

called Mount Austin, at an Industrial area of the same name.

Smaller Side of SALEM

The New Directive Policy has confirmed that only 20 sticks of 

cigarettes are to be sold over the counter.

This marks the end of the last of the smaller packs for SALEM

The 14 sticks and not only we remember this last pack 

but also once upon a time when there were the 10 & 7 sticks!

So, who is Touchy Feely now?

50 years of SALEM

It is quite prestigious when something is being designed by

some well-known artist and SALEM is so willing to go to

the extent just to bring up it's image!

This has been SALEM's celebration of 50 years of freshness

The year was 1956, as old as I am! Yes, the year I was born!

I bought this somewhere in 2006 while drinking at a PUB
when some pretty sexy promoters came in! 

Honestly this box that came with a lighter do look as

ravishing as this SALEM special limited issue, nicelly packed!

After SALEM Ice

It has been the dawn of the age of New Directive Policy 
not only for SALEM but for all cigarettes - country wide!

Yes! Smokers will know what I am talking about and

so will the cigarette conscious non-smokers!

I wrote in my earlier bLoGs on the 2 aftermath of SALEM

which you see over the shelves these days.

So far, this seems like the best pack that

SALEM has produced - the special limited edition 

extra cooling sensation SALEM Ice,

our showcase for the month of September.

But it is still SALEM's menthol at it's best!

And the special display Ice cube casing for retailers only, 

which I am very fortunate to have them!

I also collected the full height display stand from the retailer!

The stand is now on display in my Data Room, my workplace.

And not forgetting the SALEM Ice's attractive carton box too!

Well, the showcase of next month will be MILD Seven,

an initiation by an ardent visitor, Kurt, 

who is now my FACEBOOK friend!

And, as usual, remembering SALEM Ice, the Septmember showcase

The Mint of Marlboro

In the event of coping up with the new generation of smokers,

like other cigarette producers, Marlboro too have been working

hard on producing more flavors, 

or rather I should say more styles for smokers!

And so, came the lavishly looking Fresh Mint pack! 

2007 seems to be a busy year for most cigarette companies

to get going on new ideas before the new regulations, the new directive 

that was finally strictly being imposed in 2008.

Perilly's Finale

After the previous bLoG on it's original full flavor

( the black box that turned side-opening pack ),
we not only see the transition of it
( note the small name of with PALL MALL below Perilly's logo ),
but this would also be the last we've seen of Perilly's Menthol 25 sticks!

And the following original packs has also followed it's tragic ending

after being transitioned into PALL MALL

It really is a pity of a brand that's been around for quite a decade.

And so does it's 100's king size! But looks like Pall Mall won't be

producing the 100's at this moment.

As it is that has happened to the Menthol of Matterhorn's 100's

Well, I sure hope one day they'd make a comeback like what KENT did!
