CAMEL Limited Edition

Well, today i will complete my collection of CAMEL 

until I start collecting again on the new packs based 

on the New Directive Policy. 

And this has been their very special Limited Edition! 

eNjOy the views! 

It is packaged with a metal lighter as premium! Nice & quality! 

And what it says about CAMEL on the inside of the box cover in gold!

Well, and this has been their special die-cut counter display set 
during the promotion. 

Most of the time these display stands will be thrown away. 

The coffee shop I frequent always try and save them up 
for my collections!

DUNHILL Boost

2011 bring about some new look in packaging for cigarettes!

DUNHILL is one of them and this has been January's

so-called Menthol Boost! A new product from DUNHILL!

Meaning? Well, it is deeper in menthol taste I feel and chilling!

Oh well, i had to taste it to feel it! ;-D

It is trying to be as biting as SALEM!

And of course this is an issue under the New Directive Policy.

So, what's that CLICK TO RELEASE? 
I tried as labeled and there really is a click sound!

 It breaks a tiny balloon inside and triggers the boosted menthol!
Twalla! Really menthol boost!
You can feel the "kick" right thru your nose!

And, this really is a Limited Edition pack for now 

cos it is hard to get! You can't find it at all retail stores.

So, if you wanna get this attractive pack and
wanna take a feel of that boost, you betta be quick!

Dunhill's Leafy concern

It's Dunhill's special Leafy set released few years back.

I guess it's around 2008/2009 if i am nor mistaken.

And it's this month's showcase!

Sorry i am late but, I am here just for you!

They came in 2 Menthols and a light flavor 

And the box set came with a free heavy metal lighter.

Well, these lighters were once presented as a gift

many years ago and they don't last as it looks!

After a refill, they are NOT useable anymore!

Dunhill Wallet pack

Dunhill like other cigarette companies, has regular Limited Edition packs.

That's why collectors are always around for grabs!
And I mean they really grab them fast!
Some smokers hardly get a chance to collect them or even have a glance of it!

Thus, this hobby is nothing too strange about but unique!

This Wallet twin pack of 20's has been an earlier product before the D360

This really was a special design on the packaging!

Dunhill and Marlboro are the 2 brands with the most products in the market

that I have collected, so, January 2011 showcase will still be Dunhill but

it will mostly be based on it's special issues.

So, do drop by soon for more!

D360 Platinum Collection

Well, I am not too sure if this D360 is known as Platinum

but this was a very limited edition package that came with

a USB speaker for the notebook at a very special price.

Well, nothing great about paying for it as at that time

we get to buy one similar USB speaker at about that price too!

It's just a marketing gimmick, but as for me,

it's the special package for my collection!

 

The following is the open view of the box. 

Actually there were 3 flavors to this issue but I only bought one. 

There isn't any point of having 3 USB speakers though 

the thought was there at that time. 

I suggested to the Esso/Mobil Gas Station guy who regularly keep 

special boxes for me to collect for me if somebody happens to throw 

away a box, but that seems quite impossible.

Sporty MILD Seven

It was the time when almost everybody was fighting to get

a piece of the sports sponsors and MILD Seven had

successfully came up with this tin package and

it's special limited edition release.

To me it was their best shot at the industry on sports, 

at least during that time ( 2007 )

50 years of SALEM

It is quite prestigious when something is being designed by

some well-known artist and SALEM is so willing to go to

the extent just to bring up it's image!

This has been SALEM's celebration of 50 years of freshness

The year was 1956, as old as I am! Yes, the year I was born!

I bought this somewhere in 2006 while drinking at a PUB
when some pretty sexy promoters came in! 

Honestly this box that came with a lighter do look as

ravishing as this SALEM special limited issue, nicelly packed!

This was also another Limited Edition of Marlboro's Fresh Mint flavor

which I believe many have not even got a glimpse of it.

The moment it touches the retail's shelf, it was snapped up!

And never seen again!

PALL MALL's Smaller Packs

I found out recently that from this month onwards
they have stopped the retail of smaller packs of 14 sticks. 

The minimum size of a pack of cigarettes is 20 sticks

However, this recalls my memory on the yet smaller size
of 10 sticks that I have collected!

Once upon a time there's also the 7 sticks
but I've not had any one of PALL MALL's!

On the right in the photo are the limited special motorsports edition!

PALL MALL is FAMOUS cigarettes?

These three carton box I collected somewhere in 2008 clearly indicates that 

PALL MALL have been around for over a decade!

But of course back then it was Rothmans of PALL MALL.

Gee! I would wanna go find me an old 

 cigarette pack with Rothmans of PALL MALL!

Just before the month ends for me to conclude on

this month's showcase of Marlboro Intense brand,

Black Smoke!

Well, cigarette brands are always in very keen competition in outdoing

each other on their packaging outlook! It must look as good as it's going

to taste! Always spending time in their designs.

With my last bLoG on SALEM's new release of their recent slim packs,

this is their "black box" but still it's a menthol flavor!

Actually this post was supposed to be on SALEM black packs as I mentioned,

but since I also have this Marlboro's new box in black ( labelled TOUCH ),

I might as well present it at the same time.

There is the DUNHILL version though, which has been in

the market for around 6 months I think. It's part of their set of other colors

in this latest packaging design. It has this special lift up cigarette cover inside.

If I'm not mistaken they are the first to have this design.

Well, I'll be posting the DUNHILL black as well when I get hold of it.

And talking about the first, well, if you have noticed the banner at the top right

you might have seen the Pall Mall's special side opening box on display as

cigarette choice of July. Each month I will select a brand to paste up next to

my banner as my choice of the month.

Hope that you liked my collection and hopefully I'll invest a daily routine to write

one each day for I've got too many at hand.

Welcome to My Marlboro wOrLd!

It's my favorite collection of MARLBORO cigarette box of the century!

The Sports Special Editions!

The following is a close up of the Triangle-shaped Special Limited Edition.

It's been almost coming to half a year since I took up another post in here 
after being silence from the creation of this bLoGspace.

Now that I have resettled myself from migration 

( from far south to furthest north of the country ) 

since mid March earlier this year, I will invest more time for this bLoGspace.

From the original bLoGs I used to write in Yahoo's Y360 that later migrated over 
their new transition beta as Yahoo Profile ( now labelled PULSE ) 
has not been too accomodating and unexciting. 
There seems to be a cushioning that brought about quite some silence 
as if everybody is not in there! 
There's as if the feel ain't like it was before anymore. 
What more now we have to tackle Yahoo's new Shine!

This disappointment actually has started this space 
but I have not really put in effort to really bLoG about 
my cigarette stuffs simply because there's a question in my head - 
where do i begin?

With that, what I really did the kick off was put in a bLoG news.

Still not decided how I will go about continuing from where I left off 
from my cigarette box bLoGs, 
I've given some deep thoughts over it just recently, 
after I have reinstated my landline with this broadband 
on 18th this month actually.

It got simple - I just have to put in my favorite collections to begin with!
